✦ Behind Bird Branding Studio

Design, Publish, and Show Up Professionally

Hi, I'm Johanna — the designer, newsletter publisher, and visual content specialist behind Bird Branding Studio. I work with small businesses, churches, community organizations, and independent creators who need professional branding, publications, and marketing materials but don't have an in-house design team.

My work spans branding and logo design, print and digital newsletters, menus, business cards, flyers, social media graphics, event promotions, and AI-assisted imagery. Whether a client needs a single piece or an ongoing creative partnership, I bring the same level of care and consistency to every project.

Whether you arrive with a detailed brief, a mood board, or simply an idea — I translate what you're trying to say into materials that look intentional, feel authentic, and represent you well. Every concept starts with your vision. I translate your goals, your aesthetic, and your audience into design that feels like it was made for your business specifically — because it was.

I also produce The Buzz, a weekly newsletter I've designed and managed since 2023 for a local assisted living community — a project that reflects everything this studio values: consistency, care, community connection, and quality work done week after week.

My goal is straightforward: to give small businesses and organizations access to professional creative support — without the overhead, the jargon, or the wait.

The Buzz — A Community Publication

A weekly community newsletter I have designed, written, and published since July 2023 — a real ongoing project that demonstrates newsletter design, publication management, community engagement, and sponsorship program development.

The Buzz began in July 2023 as a volunteer project for a local assisted living community — and has grown into one of the clearest demonstrations of what I do. Each week I produce both a print-ready edition and a digital share version covering community events, devotional content, resident features, and local news. The newsletter also carries a sponsorship program, which I designed and manage end-to-end.

What you see below is a sample of real issues — the same quality, consistency, and care I bring to every client project.

Community Sponsorship Through The Buzz

As part of publishing The Buzz, I developed and manage a local sponsorship program that connects small businesses with residents, families, and staff through a weekly print and digital newsletter. It’s one example of how I approach publication design as a complete service — combining design, communication, audience engagement, and community connection.
